I designed a skirt that would allow unrestricted movement due to the unique panel design - the skirt fits a dancers movement.

Maintaining the traditional silhouette was important for dancers and teachers alike. The unique design of the skirt allows for a perfect fit - no matter the figure - and the movement of the skirt reflects the fit. It is a wrap skirt but does not look it. It is securely fastened and the waist is adjustable by 4 inches. Because of the cut of the skirt, there is no bunching around the waist. To have a dance skirt that fits a dancers movement is unique.

As a dancer, I enjoyed the art and learning the art. As a teacher, I work to instill growth in strength, in every way. Ballet is about strength - mind character, and body. It is about dancing the music - not to the music. My teaching philosophy embodies this. Music is prime in teaching dance, and my wonderful pianist plays the music not just the notes. Students respond.
